Bottles and Banners

Throw a bottle no bother. Hold a banner there will be trouble. This is the message from the police from a weekend of incidents involving Celtic and Sevco. The banner which read “Police everywhere, Justice nowhere” was a criticism of the constabulary, one they were not willing to take on board. When the Newco briefly went behind at Ibrox they resorted to not just throwing coins, 1 of which could have bought the Oldco, they also threw a glass bottle.

Banner is proven correct by the Polices handling of the incident that they created.

Now there are of course pictures and an article in the DR about one of the incidents, you will need to google and scour the internet to find anything on the issues involving Sevco. Sheer thuggery from The Rangers fans is the post on the Scotland Forum and is accompanied by the post below.

The commentary on this has been left to the Bampots and Morton fans themselves. Quiet simply the media and its establishment darlings would never criticize Ra Peepul. Nor would they ever criticize the Police or their rights to harass those wished to express their views politically.

Indycelts.com is itself less than a week old. This website doesn’t differentiate between being a Celtic fan and being politically aware. We are Unrepentant Fenian Bastards and if that upsets you then toddle off to the BBC, DR or Evening Times.

That we are seeing our fellow Hoops being attacked for having the temerity to bring comment upon the political climate in Scotland is frankly depressing. That Rangers* fans offensive behaviour is a physical attack on away fans is frankly typical. It is also typically depressing that the articles we read are of our banners and not their bottles. So i will leave it to Morton themselves to have the last word on Scotland Shame.
