The implosion at the Newco who have failed to win their last 3 straight League matches is winning the Premiership for Celtic without us having to kick a ball.
Of course, we are unbeaten domestically since a 1-0 reverse to Kilmarnock on the 3rd of February, nearly 2 months ago.
Should our winning form continue against Dundee and Hamilton in the next week and Sevco fail to beat Dundee FC, we will be able to book our Scottish Cup Final date on the 14th of April and win the League the week after.
Aberdeen may well have a say in that as they are mathematically in a better position having a game in hand, with their inability to beat the Newco this year that seems a foregone conclusion.
In a perfect world, we will draw either Sevco or Aberdeen in the first game after the split, which will allow us to seal 7 in a row, hopefully, with a shot at the double treble already lined up.
However long it takes, Celtic will have the opportunity to play our squad players throughout the split, giving Brendan the opportunity to see who has a Celtic future without having the pressure of a title chase mooted by some just a few weeks ago.
