Celts Linked away

Winning an undefeated treble will always draw attention, the SMSM haven’t brought up any other teams on the planet who have done it after all.

But the amount of players linked with moves has been startling.

These Celts have been linked with doing moving along:

Craig Gordon has been linked with a move to Chelsea and apparently they may come back with a third bid higher than the £4 million they offered last time.

Emilio Izaguirre has been linked with a move to Leeds.

Jozo Simunovic has been linked with a move to Newcastle or Crystal Palace for a paltry £6 million, he will attract more interest from better clubs for much more during the summer.

Erik Sviatchenko was linked with Leicester.

Kieran Tierney is linked with Manchester United at a fraction of his value repeatedly, £15 million would be a steal for our wonder kid.

Nir Biton was linked with Espanyol but we asked for £10 million and scared them off.

Stuart Armstrong is linked with a move to West Brom, a club well below his stature. Brighton and Everton are also keen.

GMS is linked with a move to Aberdeen.

Tom Rogic has been linked with Arsenal, more recently there has been talk of interest from multiple southern clubs.

Moussa Dembele is linked with everyone, like KT, no need for links.

Leigh Griffiths has been stirring interest with the Record trying to sell him for £6 million to West Brom or Newcastle yet again.

That is 11 Celts, 10 of whom we want to keep that have been linked with moves away, a whole team!

Saidy Janko has also stirred some interest from the Championship, Ryan Christie could be a pawn in a move to Aberdeen, Eoghan O’Connell has moved to Bury and Efe Ambrose to the Hibees on a free.

Imagine this Celtic Transfer target team.

This team would win the Premiership easily enough.

The sides who are chasing their signatures are all playing “in the greatest League on earth” after all.
