Ladies and gentleman, if you didn’t already know, its all aboot the Raanjurs!

Dave King has come out in the Record in a desperate bid to get the Shame to buy more cut price, year old replica tops by stating that Celtic have won 2 in a row, not 6, because Rangers were not there to contest the titles.

It is gripping reading that would have you cringing if you were not a halfwit but will likely become a battle cry among the deluded.

Speaking in that bastion of truth known as the Daily Record, King said:

“I was asked recently if I thought Celtic could get 10 in a row.

“My response is that Celtic have got two in a row at this point in time.

“So they need to win another eight to get to 10.

“Do I think there’s any chance of them getting another eight?

“I don’t think there’s any chance of them doing that before us winning another league title.

“Celtic have six titles but the concept of nine-in-a-row is a competition between Rangers and Celtic.

“So if Rangers went into the English Premier League and Celtic stayed behind in Scotland and won 20 league titles, there would be no point them saying to Rangers fans, ‘We’ve won 20 in a row.’

“It’s irrelevant if Rangers are not there. So it’s a challenge among ourselves.”

“The fact that Rangers were removed from that league for four years suspended the nine-in-a-row pursuit.

“They’ve got the titles but they haven’t got six-in-a-row in competition with Rangers.

“That only recommenced last season.

“So as far as Rangers are concerned, Celtic haven’t got six in a row.

“They’ve got two. And they’ll never get to 10. They won’t even get close.”

Scottish football has just been told that its League titles are between 2 teams, from my recollection they are between all teams in the pyramid, as are the Cups.

Celtic’s 102 triumphs to date including the European Cup have not been won exclusively with Rangers in attendance.

For example last year we won the treble against Aberdeen and Rangers were where we left them.

In Liquidation, they died, we laughed, they cried.

Here we go 10 in a row.
