The Ibrox Implosion

Yesterday was Brendan’s Demolition derby, the Ibrox Implosion saw their stands, team and support all fall spectacularly from grace simultaneously.

We watched the death rights administered to a newborn.

Their roof started falling in, their racial hatred overflowed in front of every prospective player and sponsor on earth and their deluded offspring jumped the fence to attack Broony.

Well in Griff! You arrived a troubled Hibee you will leave a treasured Tim.

Great to see him standing up for the Skipper and for the crest.

His goal will be on highlight reels in a century.

I would rate it with Scott McDonald’s goal as the finest i have seen scored at Ibrox, but that was against another club.

That club i speak of used to gub us there.

The whole week of waiting was one of anxiety, like a countdown to death row or being thrown into the arena against a gladiator with a cricket bat.

It was painful, it hurt before during and most acutely afterwards as upon taking your fry the next morning you would see distance that could have been breached, widened.

That and about 30 pages of guff and tosh in the SMSM speaking about the Oldco as Galacticos, they could once.

At 39 years old i would prefer not to remember growing up, those Tims reading who are my own age are nursing very special hangovers.

Ask them, we never saw anything like this, hell we never dare dream of it.

The coming days will be very special, lets take stock.

The Oldco is being systematically ripped to pieces in court, the Newco will be ripped to pieces in the press just as their favourite team was in the Big Hoos.

It is a wet dream, wrapped in a fantasy, shrouded in mysterious flavours of jelly and ice cream!

I can see the SAG’s handed forced by the falling roof, how can it remain open?

The Big Hoos is falling down, if anyone sees a market for Sevco’s stadium next year on Paddy Power i will put a dump on Hampden.

The Rangers have no money to fix Ibrox and it will be in an even worse condition by August.

Murray is going to pay for all his crimes, Whytey is writing himself into legend once more.

Finally, Pedro isn’t even half the manager Warbo was, they have regressed and show no signs of improvement.

Aberdeen and Scottish Fitba in general will surely take note and lose the awe upon trips to Mordor.

Too much respect has been paid already.

On and off the filed, in and out of court, Oldco and Newco, are all imploding around us.

For all their woes, an undefeated season and a treble beckon upon greener climes.

It has never been so good to be a Tim!
