8 point gap beckons against the Shame

Let us be clear, our match at home vs Ross County is a game we should bank on, with a wounded Sevco approaching next week it must be an opportunity to torpedo both their title hopes and that of manager Pedro Caixinha.

I am an old Celt and one racked with the superstitions of the 9 in a row, I have always said that a team who drops points before a derby will lose the derby and drop the game after it.

I have seen it happen both ways dozens of times.

The Newco is riding high on the back of Celtic losing in Europe, an idiot jumping the fence and their charge for 55.

Those who call us obsessed can only draw joy from us not beating the world or the ridiculous actions of a Tim who won’t show his face at a game of football ever again.

They can paper over the cracks but their rickety little club is teetering and we all know it.

The next 180 minutes of football played by the Famous Glasgow Celtic will decide the direction of this year’s title.

If we open up an 8 point gap to use the terms of one particular Oldco player, the title is in the bag.

I hope Aberdeen pick up their points this week and next too, the sight of us both out of sight will torpedo Pedro’s Revolution before a shot has been fired in anger and put them back to square one.

Where they belong.
