The Sun, that bastion of truth and impartiality, has come up with something everyone in Fitba has speculated on for years, the next destination of a certain hefty Colombian.

Apparently he is torn between 2 football clubs, the other 30-50 he has featured in the SMSM have obviously cooled their interests now he is available for nothing.

That said his options apparently are not Galatasaray as was the ball plucked out last time the SMSM played Morelos Bingo.

Here is the latest article which seems to beg Kent to sign on with Alf already understood to be gone to the Newco cause.

ALFREDO MORELOS has narrowed his next destination down to two clubs, it’s being reported.

The Colombian striker’s Rangers contract runs out at the end of the season and at present it seems almost certain he’ll leave Ibrox.

Just before the international break, Gers boss Michael Beale dropped the biggest hint yet that Morelos is done at the club.

Beale denied reports that the attacker had already signed a pre-contract with Sevilla, with media in Spain claiming he’d put pen-to-paper on a deal for 2023 and beyond.

Neither Morelos or fellow out-of-contract star Ryan Kent have been offered new deals at Ibrox, but Kent seems the more likely of the two to be offered fresh terms tempting him to stay.

Beale said a fortnight ago: “Alfredo’s situation is slightly different.

He’s been at the club for a long time and I need to see a little bit more from Alfredo day in, day out.

“Obviously he’s been free to speak to whatever club he likes for a good while now. He’s had that but we haven’t spoken about it.”

Despite being spotted wearing an Everton jersey last week, the Toffees aren’t in the 26-year-old’s final two.

According to Estadio Deportivo in Spain, Aston Villa and Sevilla are the two clubs the man known as El Buffalo is torn over.

Porto have been linked with Morelos in the past, as have Turkish giants Galatasaray but Estadio Deportivo say that the latter have all but given up on signing the angers star.

Interest from La Liga stalwarts Sevilla has never gone away for much of the past 18 months, so it’s no surprise to see them on Morelos’ potential final shortlist.

The Colombian has been linked with Aston Villa before, particularly during Steven Gerrard’s reign, but the ex-Rangers boss has now been replaced by Unai Emery.

Ollie Watkins is Villa’s only proven centre-forward on the books at present, though they did spend £15million on Colombian teenager Jhon Duran in January.

Cameron Archer has performed well on loan at Middlesborough while Jhon Duran but the likes of Wesley and perhaps even Bertrand Traore could be offloaded in the summer.

So there you have it, Alf torn between to clubs but neither are Sevco.

Pity, it would be better if he stayed, his trophy record speaks for itself.
