Allan to Hibs, McGeouch to Celtic

Sharing is caring!

Scott Allan has stated his desire to stay at Easter Road and I don’t think there is a Tim who would begrudge him the move, he deserves the stability that he had before Sevco unsettled him and Deila pounced.

I assume a deal will be worked out for a minimum of fuss between former Hoops gaffer Neil Lennon and Invincible incumbent Brendan Rodgers, with just a year on the contract to go the fee will be modest and well within Hibs means.

Of greater interest is Dylan McGeouch who is on a free come the end of the season, he has hit fine form as a first team player at Hibs and costing us nothing would be well worth the investment.

He knows Celtic well from his years at the club and with Armstrong with only a year on his contract, Roberts likely leaving, Rogic stalling and Musonda barely being used having a ready-made attacking midfielder for a minimal outlay seems a no-brainer.

Of course, there will be other offers for McGeouch, but the opportunity to make it at the club where it all began back in 2005 when he played alongside Callum McGregor in the youth system will hopefully lure him to Paradise.

With a lot of uncertainty over the futures our attacking options, this transfer would solve a lot of headaches for minimal expense.
