The lack of promotion by Sky has seen the national sport regress in quantity just as the quality has improved across the board.
Sure it is hard to give Them a compliment but they have had a great run in Europe and in fairness for the last few years, the Premiership has never been tighter bar 2 clubs at the top and 2 at the bottom with Hearts having no hope of catching up and no real fear of falling down from 3rd.
Clubs like Ross County have been outstanding running on budgets which are mere vapours compared to the gallons poured into the quintessentially British financial black hole.
