Since Rodgers left in the night Celtic has struggled against the 8-year-old club under Neil Lennon, the high press employed by the Ibrox club and some strange selections have seen us defeated when our form suggested we would win.

Since the defeat in December, Celtic have gone from strength to strength whilst the People have descended into meltdown on the back of some bizarre results against Hearts, St. Johnstone and Hamilton, today’s result vs Ross County looked to be another chapter of shame before a lucky deflection saved their graces.

As today’s scorer Ryan Kent said earlier in the media, the club enjoys being underdogs and this week will play right into that mindset with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayer Leverkusen and Celtic coming to visit the Govan club.

The idea of winning twice at Ibrox in a season was once the stuff of legend, Celtic are in great form with all players healthy and accounted for, the time for a performance to stamp our dominance on proceedings is at hand and should we win this seasons Premiership will certainly have green and white ribbons on it.

In order to defeat Them at Ibrox we should look to attack and play both Griffiths and Edouard upfront, we have looked a far better team with the two starting together and we should not hold any fear of this team regardless of the venue.

Griffiths himself has come out today being bullish about making an appearance at Ibrox and after a hattrick can’t be benched, Edouard, on the other hand, is simply too good not to play, hopefully, both players take the pitch against the 8-year-old club and our midfield provides the fight that will give our forwards the service and opportunities needed to all but seal the 9.

We are a much better team than them, it is time we met their high press and defeated it and with it, any chance of them winning anything this season.
