Celtic have been busy signing players to new deal since Brendan came in and today we have seen the announcement of yet another player who has pledged his future to Celtic.
Mitchell Frame is just 17 years old but has already represented Scotland at both Under 17’s and Under 19’s with a combined 13 appearance overt the two formats, 11 in the 16’s and 2 in the 19’s.
It is a smart bit of business for the club and at left back he is coming through in a contentious position whereby he has a real chance of progressing to first team football.
With 3 months until the transfer window opens, Celtic are busy keeping the best players we have, fans will be sitting by in anticipation for new deals to Hatate and O’Riley to follow on the extensions to Maeda, Kyogo, Welsh, Ralston, McGregor and Abada.
With the spine of our team and the new arrivals such as Nawrocki, Holm, Lagerbielke, Palma, Yang, Tilio and Kwon on long term deals, the club is smart to secure our youth players.
