Chris Sutton has again taken no prisoners whilst doing a video log with Mail Sport journalist Ian Ladyman, when he tried to slip in a few non truths about none other than Steven Gerrard.
The idea that he was successful due to winning the COVID season and that alone, a grand haul of 1 trophy in 9, is something that those in England like to muse over, maybe remembering Gerrard’s stunning English career whereby he won zero trophies in 114 appearances failing to make a final.
He failed to make a final in the 6 cup appearances in his 3 year tenure at Ibrox as well gifting Celtic 4 and St. Johnstone 2 of the 6 cups on offer.
He of course bailed on the eve of a Cup Semi vs Hibernian which a rudderless The Rangers team lost as well.
Now Chris is having none of the love in with the Al Ittifaq FC manager who is currently 4th in the standings.
As Sutton said, with no fans in the stadiums he was able to win the league, when there were fans in the stadiums not only he but his team wilted week in week out.
