Coronavirus or not Lennon was always going to clearout a lot of the signings he inherited, with the threat of empty stadiums and far reduced income for the club, the list will surely grow, here however are some Celts we will never see again.

Eboue Kouassi has signed for Genk in a great deal for all parties, Celtic have recouped about 40% of the 3 million transfer we paid Krasnodar under Rodgers and freed up wages, with Soro playing the same role, we have a ready-made player to replace him.

Craig Gordon’s contract is up on the 31st of May and he will become a free agent who will be looking for first-team football to make his claim for a 55th Scottish Cap and a chance to qualify for the Euros. A committed servant and veteran of the Invincibles, he will leave with everyone’s best wishes.

Moritz Bauer never really got a run at Right Back due to the amazing form of Jeremie Frimpong, he will return to Stoke at the end of his contract, he will always be fondly remembered for taking the foul of Jordan Jones in the first derby and having him both sent off and crocked in one go.

Daniel Arzani will likely be farmed out by Manchester City to another club after a tragic spell in Hoops, he lasted just 15 minutes vs Dundee FC and tore his ACL, he then found himself behind Moi and Mikey in left midfield and spent the season in the reserves making a late appearance in a Scottish Cup tie at the start of this year.

Calvin Miller found himself stuck behind Kieran Tierney throughout his time at Celtic, with KT away to Arsenal, Lennon signed Bolingoli and Taylor as cover at Left Back and has used Jonny Hayes in that role ahead of him too. His contract is up on the 31st and he will leave with everyone’s best wishes.

Anthony Ralston is a player who promised much when he burst into the first team with his memorable battle with Neymar in a game we were taken apart somehow held up as a positive. His contract expires at the end of the month and with Hatem and Frimpong ahead of him at Right Back looks to have no chance of signing a new contract.

This list could yet grow, Jonny Hayes is also out of contract but I believe the manager will keep him for his versatility, Lennon trusts him and will likely give him a one-year extension with his adaptability a useful commodity on the left.

Fraser Forster and Moi Elyanousi are both due to return Southampton but it is hoped that deals can be done with Oliver Ntcham spoken as a makeweight with the Frenchman keen on a move it could be best for everyone.

Kristoffer Ajer is constantly in the papers and looks like he has had his head turned, if Benkovic and money with a sell on clause can be negotiated with Rodgers then so be it, better to have a committed player than one with an agent craving a pay day as we chase down the 10.

Gordon/Forster
Miller
Ajer
Bauer
Ralston
Elyanoisi
Arzani
Ntcham
Kouassi
Hayes

If you added a striker to this team it would probably qualify for Europe, such is the depth of our squad.
