The folk over at Follow Follow aren’t happy with the fixtures despite having to play the exact same teams as everyone else, the Champions are at home to Ross County on the first day of the season whilst our city neighbours are away to Kilmarnock.
It seems that this is due to a cabal, the hidden green hand yet again influencing the fixtures to stack everything up against Beale and his Galacticos.
There is one small advantage to Celtic inasmuch that The Rangers first derby will be played after a mid week game in the Champions League qualifiers, something they will be desperate to qualify for.
If they do not then the fixture list will be the least of their issues.
Celtic’s first 4 games are against Ross County, then away to Aberdeen followed by a home game vs St. Johnstone before heading to Ibrox likely without any Celts in attendance.
Celtic will want to hit the ground running and get an early lead over Sevco, something we did last time when Brendan was in charge.
On that occasion we had the first derby at home with Moussa Dembele scoring a perfect hattrick in a 5-1 rout.
That rout saw the Newco’s team fall to pieces with the staff leaving, Joey Barton going AWOL and a coffee machine being lost in the mix.
It will be very interesting if Celtic go to Ibrox after them having failed to qualify for the Champions League with a points lead.
History tends to repeat itself.
