Griffiths rescues 3 points after a flat display

3 points are in the bank but in all fairness that was brutal, we passed the ball along the back line as if the game were a training exercise of a game of keep-ball for much of the match.

The dual substituitions of Mikey Johnstone and Scott Sinclair certainly livened things up on the flanks, Sinclair look good linking up with Keiran Tierney who played well looking threatening in attack and sure in defence.

Talking of defence, Benkovic showed why he is worth 13 million pounds looking assured throughout, if he is healthy I can’t see him being dropped for the rest of his loan spell.

Whilst we were not flamboyant tonight by any means, ultimately the Gaffer played a blinder.

Brown was often deputising at Centre Half for the taller Boyata and it paid off with the Skipper picking Dedryck out who then found the fresh legs of Griffiths in an acre of space to head home from straight in front.

It may not have been a perfect performance, but the points are ours.

The system is all wrong he has to play 2 upfront instead of this boring passing game and attack instead of getting two holding players and we’re at home needs to have faith in his new signings if nytcham is tired bring on mulumba why is he sitting on the bench arzani lewis morgan surely bredan was the same at Liverpool to defensive give them some pace and direct Griffiths wants to play and so does Trevor why is lustig still there as he gets caught out with no pace brown has to cover his place three at the back rogic tries and he so quick that nobody can no where his next pass is coming from needs some tired legs to have a rest and stop passing across the field so much give the young boys a go and see what they can do bring back some pace in the team
