McCann or McInnes: Who will replace Pedro?

Image for McCann or McInnes: Who will replace Pedro?

Pedro is finished, it is a matter of when and not if they get rid of him, 3 blind mice can see that.

So when Ra Peepul buy out the 3 years of his contract sometime after we gub them in August, who will replace the former Al Gharafa supremo?

My money isn’t on McInnes, it is on the wee rat.

McInnes is a better gaffer, lets be clear but if this spat festers he wont be welcomed.

So lets give the prodigal his dues, he has turned Dundee FC around since taking over from former Celt Paul Hartley.

2 wins a draw and a loss isn’t particularly amazing.

But in fairness they were playing absolutely mince before he came, losing 8 straight, including a 7-0 hammering at the hands of Aberdeen.

He has turned them around a guaranteed their survival for another season.

If we are to look at Celtic’s last 4 Premiership games, we have won 3 League games and drawn 2-2 with diving Ross County.

In Pedro’s universe that would have Neil McCann a mere 3 points off the Champions!

Pedro himself has garnered 2 wins and 2 losses at the same time, that is to say the wee rat has a better record with an even more dysfunctional team.

Had McCann been given a transfer kitty and a full preseason he would have been able to make his mark on the team and i would assume that Dundee would be further up the ladder.

Both Pedro and McCann have inherited teams that they didn’t sign, the proof will be in the pudding this summer when the next wave of Pips, Bartons and over the Hills come in to go for 55.

Pedro has shown how devoid of imagination he is, he has signed Kenny up for another season and is linked with 35 year old has been Bruno Alves.

Fresh from signing Dads Army’s finest for another season he is looking to stock the Mordor retirement village with more players who should be looking to a retirement village league, like Qatar for example.

We all want Pedro to stay, i will be hoping he secures a 1-0 win this weekend so he can register 55 goals (wasn’t that their target) and honour the Lions by reaching 67 points.

It would be a fitting tribute from the Tribute Act.

But i will call it here, Pedro is finished, the Glasgow Derby will see Rodgers’ Celtic come to Poundland before the window closes.

If Pedro’s “12 new signings” don’t beat Celtic, then Dave King should save some of the 30 million war chest for his replacement.

That may well be the Bhoy who never was.
