The loss of James Forrest has been devestating for Celtic this year with the highly underrated winger not featuring for the majority of the season due to injury.

In that time we have struggled playing Frimpong out of position and in the whole asking too much of the Right/Wing Back expecting him to neatly slot into the midfield duties.

It has been a case of weakening a strength to strengthen a weakness and it has found us little joy, what is needed is an out and out right winger and with Shved on loan we either recall him or we go back in for Paddy Roberts.

Today there are fresh links for the young Englishman and if a deal can be worked out then it is surely in the best interests of everyone to bring Paddy home, it is a crying shame that Man City turned down a permanent transfer for him only to farm him out on loan repeatedly.

He has barely played at Middlesbrough featuring in just 3 matches and we are in need of a spark in his position, hopefully a deal can be done early in the window, if on the first day he could even make the bench at Ibrox.
