Separating Bhoys from Them

Sharing is caring!

After the international break we are going to see a glut of fixtures in Scotland’s notorious winter with the heat well and truly turned up on both Glasgow teams.

Celtic and the other team have the exact same amount of competitive games from the start of the season with 4 European rounds, 6 Europa League ties and 4 matches in the League Cup to go with Premiership duties.

It is usually at this time of year that injuries kick in and squads start to thin, the consequence being that points are dropped as the pressure intensifies.

The League Cup final is itself flanked by midweek fixtures the latter being a grudge match against Cluj away.

We will have to go to our squad over this period and with players such as Bauer, Jozo, Bain, Taylor, Sinclair, Morgan, Arzani, Shved, Johnston, Kouassi, Connell, Bayo and Griffiths barely playing or not at all we have a team in reserve not to mention Rogic and Biton.

These players are of a far higher quality than the second XI at Dads army who will have to play every 3 days for 6 weeks.

Celtic are in a fantastic position and playing football that has Tims dreaming, a win at the national stadium and a lead in the league beckon, with ourselves involved in European competition all assets must be retained with some deadwood cut during the window.

From the list above, players if called upon will know they must seize their chance or face the door in January.

It is all set up for a magical season.
