The scheduling of the Europe League will mean that Ra Peepul will get another hatefest on their Glorious 12th, 6 Irish teams are in the mix including Cliftonville from the North of Ireland and Derry who play in the Republic.

Progres is also in the qualification pool if the Peepul wants to go bathe in beer in the town square and if Gerrard fancies some shrub time.

The first qualification phase is by no means easy for the 6-year-olds, Osijek from Croatia, Lech Poznan of Poland, Hacken and AIK from Sweden and Celtic’s old rivals Molde from Norway are all strong teams.

The Scandinavians will be mid-season and will have been playing together for 3 months unlike the Rangers revolution we are being told will be kick-started for 6 million pounds across the way.

Should Sevco draw Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers or Derry from the Republic or Cliftonville from Ulster the first leg will almost certainly be played at Ibrox, meaning they would need to travel to survive in Europe, something they have a 100% failure rate in their small history.

The idea of playing in Ireland at the peak of marching season would be extremely dangerous, we saw Celtic turn down away tickets when we faced Lindfield and a bottle of Buckfast last season.

As The Peepul look forward to a summer of moonbeams and Bosmans confident that they will sweep all aside, Celtic look forward to a double treble which is a mere 90 minutes away.

We will need to play better than yesterday but if you are on Twitter you will have already been told, we threw the game, just like we did against Hibs.

Some Peepul will never learn.
