Well I know of a garage in Liverpool with a couple of angry brother pacing back and forth complaining that the Ibrox mob failed in the simplest of actions which may well have earned the Newco a fortune.

It all started of course with the announcement that Sevco would be playing in an all white kit inspired by another team that played at Ibrox before Charles Green bought the divisible assets patched them back together and then celebrated their 140th birthday for the craic.

Of course this was then championed by the media and anyone who thinks that liquidation means death is bombarded with memes about child abuse and screenshots of Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini’s endorsement (corruption free) that the Newco and the Oldco are the same club.

Dundee United fan Andrew Ross hit the nail on the head but there was more to it than just that, Sevco today played in blue as the highlights will show you.

Action from today’s game all in Blue.

But the reason they decided not to play in White as advertised literally robbing them of hundreds of thousands of pounds in shirt sales for such an auspicious occasion is that they forgot to register the strip!

You couldn’t make it up, the kit which would be sold in its own kit box was accidentally unregistered, maybe the imperfectly registered kit can be trundled out at another time.
