Tierney deal done, now for Moussa

Sharing is caring!

Celtic have secured our prize asset to the club for 6 years yesterday with the deal for Kieran Tierney.

Looking at our squad you have to think which other players would we dearly love to secure for the long term?

The stand out of course is Moussa Dembele, he is currently on a 4-year deal with 2 seasons to go after this one, if a deal could be reached with the big man to sign an extension on upgraded terms then it must be a priority.

Moussa is nearing a full international call-up for France as has been reported this week which shows playing for Celtic is not impeding his progress as a player.

Far from it, Brendan Rodgers is consistently getting the best out of the big Frenchman and his continued development at Parkhead is a reason for him to stay, no to leave.

If we really want to put the cat among the pigeons, we should do the same as we did when Brendan signed on for 4 years and show our rivals that we are signing up quality for the long term.

It is no secret that we are chasing 10 in a row, if Moussa can be persuaded to sign a 2-year extension to his current deal that would see him here for the 10 and with it a chance of immortality.

There are very few teams on earth who love their heroes as much as Celtic fans, ask KT, he is going nowhere.
