Time for Toljan

Sharing is caring!

With Kris Ajer picking up a red card and an obligatory ban, and Lustig a doubt after going off injured against St. Johnstone, Celtic are again threadbare at the back and will need to bring in reinforcements against Hibernian tomorrow.

Jeremy Toljan’s signature was a moment of pure joy for Celtic fans looking for a recognised Right Back to be brought in for the run in, now he must be given his bow at home against the Edinburgh club.

3 points is a must, we have started the second half of the season with explosive form and can’t afford to let it slip, furthermore the Newco are away to an Aberdeen team that has had their number this season.

A 9 point lead is on offer over the Newco and you feel if we can get that then we the Peepul may well self destruct under the pressure and we can deal with Killie and the Dons for title honours.

We have been explosive up front securing 14 goals since playing Airdrie/Clydebank in the Scottish Cup, we have also been immaculate at the back having kept 5 straight clean sheets with Bain being flawless throughout.

Should Toljan be given his Celtic debut then we will see exactly what sort of quality we have on our books, our Loan Bhoys are proving vital, Weah and Burke are setting the League alight, now we need a run of games from Toljan.

We have no doubt paid a decent sign on fee and percentage of wages, now it is time for him to earn his keep and maintain our charge to 8 in a row.
