Time to win the League

Sharing is caring!

Celtic have been blessed yet again with title aspirants Aberdeen fluffing their lines at Tynescastle. This allows Ronny Deila’s mean to go 8 clear, with just 5 games to be played after today’s game vs Motherwell. Aberdeen can now take a maximum of 83 points, just 10 more than leaders Celtic who currently sit on 73 points and with a massive 32 extra goals in for and against.

83 points will be enough for Celtic to win the League.

This means that just 3 wins and a draw will be enough from our remaining 6 games. Celtic must defeat Motherwell today so that the focus can switch to the Scottish Cup and our impending meeting with Sevco. As the papers delight in all things “Oldfirm” and “returning” we can complain all we want. But the best way to shut up the deluded and sycophants in the SMSM is to beat the Newco.

The double has all but been handed to us on a plate, Aberdeen are collapsing Hibs style in the League and a win today vs Motherwell and we will have one hand on the trophy. In the Scottish Cup we have Sevco who are trying to water down their expectations of victory over us.

Save an honest mistake from Muir or Thomson we should beat Sevco and then it would be Hibs or Dundee United. Hibs are woeful in cup finals and Dundee United are having their worst season in a generation. No more excuses, it is time to win the League and the Cup.
