Timo’s drops loan extension hint, whoever is gaffer next season, Weah must stay

Timo Weah has lavished praise on Broony and his leadership whilst unveiling Celtic’s new Lions room where supporters with auditory, visual and sensory disorders can enjoy the game day experience.

The American international is on loan from PSG and whilst only for 6 months at first, a lot of talk has revolved around an extension for the likable loan Bhoy.

With Rodgers away, it remained to be seen if Weah would be trusted in Hoops by Lennon who traditionally doesn’t bet on youth during the run in, both he and Oliver Burke got starting roles in our 2-0 win over St. Mirren with Weah scoring the first.

We have a host of midfielders and some very good strikers in Edouard and the soon to be returning Griffiths along with the untested Bayo, Weah would be a perfect foil both off the bench and in a starting role when needed and a loan extension must be a priority for Celtic.

With his development at stake, he hinted as to the environment he finds himself in at Paradise with glowing praise for the skipper.

“Scott Brown is amazing. Ever since I have been here, he is a role model for me.

“Just knowing that people said he was finished and that he has shown the world that he still has it in him is great, he shows that you never give up and always keep going.

“He is doing an amazing job. He is a leader of men and one of the best captains I have ever had.”

Hopefully Weah will be in Hoops next season learning his trade in the same team as Scott Brown, he would be a wonderful addition to the team chasing 9 in a row.
