Derek McInnes once had the chance to join The Rangers as manager and turned it down deciding to stay at an Aberdeen team that withered under his supervision and have never recovered, now the big wee man of Scottish football is howling over an incident that VAR checked thoroughly.
Watch from 2:47, if you watch any of the rest of it all he does is talk about how the team bottled it and are mentally scarred, a hallmark of any team he puts out on the pitch.
The fact is that Oh couldn’t see the player and had his eye on the ball the entire time, he also got the ball first.
Of course it was a high foot and worthy of a yellow card as it constituted dangerous play, but it wasn’t reckless and the first contact was with the ball, it was an accident and one that was referred to VAR and subsequently dismissed by Muir.
Being beaten 4-1 whilst being down 4 goals after 27 minutes isn’t usually the time to complain of ill treatment, but with 28 points from 32 games and finding his team in the relegation zone, a bit of deflection never hurts.
Hopefully McInnes takes Kilmarnock down and we do not have to play on that dreadful pitch next season.
