Video: Watch Karamoko break Hearts, time for the first team

Sharing is caring!

Karamoko Dembele scored for the reserves today against Hearts from a free kick to the delight of his teammates and Celtic fans eager to see him progress to the first team.

Wee Dembele has only signed on for 2 more years and we are going to have to blood him at some stage in order to provide the case for him to sign on beyond.

With Dundee our next opponents and the club missing a host of midfield players like Ntcham, Christie, Rogic and Calmac, there will never be a better time to give the young charge a shot.

We need both a creative player and someone to tak free kicks/corners, Dundee are not the best of teams and he has already proven he is strong enough to withstand competition with full grown men, why not select him.

There are always excuses of not wanting to rush a player, the facts are at 16 and due to leave at 18 we have no time to spare, he must be given his shot or he will simply debut for another team.

With all of our attacking options injured there is no one ahead of him that is to be dropped, hopefully Lenny saw today’s effort and gives the young man a game, if he excels then Celtic may well have a gem on our books worth far more than his namesake.
